ENS name: born.eth
My reasons for wanting to be a delegate:
I have a decent amount of experience in identity and crypto and I believe I can help positively shape the future of ENS. I'm also a long time user of ENS; I've owned and used domains since when it first launched. I've been working in the identity space for 7 years (between Microsoft and Celo Labs) and working on web3 for 5 years. I currently lead the Identity team at Celo Labs.
My view on each section of the proposed ENS Constitution
- Name ownership is an absolute right: (Agree/Disagree/Comment)** Agree. No tyranny of the majority.
- Registration fees exist as an incentive mechanism: (Agree/Disagree/Comment)** Agree. For lack of fairer method, fees are a decent solution.
- Income funds ENS and other public goods: (Agree/Disagree/Comment)** Agree.
- ENS Integrates with the global namespace: (Agree/Disagree/Comment) Agree.
My web3 qualifications / skills:
- Worked on Ethereum tech on the Microsoft Blockchain team for 3 years
- Lead Identity engineer at Celo Labs
- Creator of TokenCast (NFT art display - incorporates ENS)
- Advisor on a handful of crypto projects
