I have concerns about the timeline of this being stretched out and the retro getting overcooked. Additionally, I increasingly think we should move forward business as usual and run the elections on the normal timeline. I like this proposal in spirit, but do not agree with the speed of implementation. Although I would support further discussions and reviews that result in streamlining the DAO's structure to this effect, I don't believe haste or sweeping changes are a necessity now. For me, one primary issue that underlies this proposal is excess spending. It's possible to to implement corrections (reduction in spending) without changing the entire structure of the DAO.
