Delegate Statement

ENS name: Master.eth

My reasons for wanting to be a delegate:

I own a list of great ENS names such as coin.eth game.eth future.eth japan.eth fortune.eth 365.et .etc. If ENS is doing good, i would guarantee a high net worth domain bag in my wallet, therefore you can understand i must do/vote everything i can to the proposals good to ENS, which is also of my own interest.

I am a CIO under a multinational logistics company. Crypto is my own interest. I started to know ENS long ago, I never doubted ENS could be the evolution to replace dot com ever since the moment I realized its real value and vision.

I personally enjoy sharing latest cool stuffs to people around. Regarding ENS, I have done almost 20+ presentations (I made good ENS slides myself) in different forum and sharing parties in China. I have access and good relationship to pretty much most of high profile crypto folks in China (which is not easy due to local restriction). I have shared my slides with Brantly once(April 2021) and maybe you team can check and verify.

I also own a lot of top ENS names (for example, coin.eth), which I am pretty sure these will worth great fortune some day in the future. I hear a lot of suggestions from local crypto folks, and I also have a lot of thoughts about ENS myself. My incentive to improve this project might be as much as Brantly/Nick or even more. I wish ENS could be on fast improving right track, and I will also enjoy if I can be a part of it.

Last but not least, below are the 3 points why ENS is great and can replace dot com, in my point of view:

Native belief, proud followers and partners

Wallets/browsers can’t wait to proactively integrate with ENS, because that will make themselves look more legit. Instead, unstoppable and other crypto domain project pays to integrate those wallets, that is definitely one hundred miles away.

There are just so many .eth twitter handles, each of them is in the party of that evolution, each of them is using their own power to inspire people around them, the follower number of each .eth twitter account can be a hint, and the trend is ascending.

Native association

Your address association won’t have any security issue, as long as you keep and protect you seed phrase well.

Same for sub-domain management. Trademark and UDRP doesn’t work in crypto world. Yours is yours, no one can take it away from your, unlike the traditional TLDs.

Personally I don’t think it is a good idea for ENS to “keep showing nice” to ICANN, helping traditional TLD users to understand ENS is good, but ICANN as a very centralized bureau, it is on the reverse way of ENS’s vision.

My view on each section of the proposed ENS Constitution 681

Name ownership is an absolute right: Agree

Registration fees exist as an incentive mechanism ): Agree

Income funds ENS and other public goods: Agree

ENS Integrates with the global namespace: Agree

My web3 qualifications / skills:

I would more prefer to call that dweb, as decentralized web/distributed web. ENS+IPFS is the foundation of dweb, lots of people only know ENS can do crypto association, but they didn’t realize what ENS does is hash association, and IPFS can also be a type of hash(content).

I truly believe that dweb will be the future trend(like internet in the past 20 years), because it is a website that never down and cannot be blocked.

I have my own project: tulip.eth.link. I hired couple developers and worked 2 months to complete it. It is actually quite difficult do launch a “.eth” website at this age, most development team never heard of it at all! Tulip.eth is a dweb version of coinmarketcap, using the APIs to collect information and show on a dweb uploaded to IPFS. It has the ranking of coin/exchange/defi. Accessing tulip.eth.link is like accessing files on bit torrent, with more people access it, the performance will improve accordingly. We all know that the ranking coinmarketcap/coingecko might have some hidden logic under the table. While dweb doesn’t have database itself, so that it does not have issue of “trust”.
